Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
with Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in close second.
I use my Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Newman's Own Organics daily. In fact since I received the bottle in December I have now purchased 3 more bottles from my local store. The first review bottle was gone in about two weeks.
Between cooking and salads we use allot of Olive Oil.
Newman's Own Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not like any other Olive Oil iv'e tried. It's color is darker then others I have bought in the past. The smell is stronger, more bold. But the best parts the flavor. This is the BEST Olive Oil I have ever used. You can eat it on a salad without the Balsamic Vinegar. It's that good.
Dipping a good Italian bread in this Olive Oil is like heaven. Or drizzled over hot pasta noodles with some Parmesan cheese makes an EXCELLENT fast meal. The taste will amaze you.
I never really realized Olive Oil was so good. For years I was buying the same brand at my local store and just using it in cooking. It never was anything special. Every once in a while I would make salad dressing but was never too impressed. Now with Newman's Own Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil I actually see and know there is a difference.
This difference is AMAZING!
Pair the Olive Oil with Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and you have an excellent salad dressing.
I don't usually use Balsamic Vinegar often, from time to time we use it as a bread dipper ~ paired with Olive Oil or on a salad. If a recipe call's for it of course I always had a bottle on hand.
Now that I have discovered Newman's Own Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
and it's smooth mellow taste I have looked around for more uses.
One that I found off Newman's Own site is a classic Modena dish in which you pair sliced strawberries and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle fresh strawberries with this high-quality
balsamic vinegar and leave to mellow for 30 minutes before serving.
Something I would of never thought to do, that turned out to be one of my favorite uses of Balsamic Vinegar.
A few more great tips when using your Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena ... add a few drops of balsamic vinegar to deglaze pan-fried meat, it can transform an ordinary dish into something special.
If a dish lacks pizzazz and tastes "flat," try stirring in 1 or 2 teaspoons of the vinegar.
