Honey Ridge Farms was built on the core belief that honey is nature's best and most delicious sweetener. Located in Brush Prairie, Washington, Honey Ridge Farms was founded in 2004 by Leeanne Goetz, who is part of an extended beekeeping legacy. In fact, Leeanne’s_ oldest son, Ryan, is fifth-generation and worked alongside his grandfather Edmund Varney, learning the vocation as a teenager and through college. Keeping true to traditional practices, Ryan is caretaker to 4000 colonies that pollinate a variety of crops throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California. TheHoney Ridge Farms family has a unique appreciation and unprecedented consideration for hive health, offering the highest quality pollination services to local farmers. Honey Ridge Farms offers a wide selection of fruit and spiced honey crèmes and honey-based vinegars, available online and from select retailers across the country. Award-winning Balsamic Honey Vinegar is truly a unique and delicious aged balsamic-style vinegar made entirely from honey. It adds an intriguingly complex flavor dimension to salads, sauces and marinades.

HONEY RIDGE FARMS received Kosher certification Parve status, for the complete Honey Crème line - Blackberry, Blood Orange, Clover, Coconut, Lavender, Lemon, Lemon-Lavender, Spiced and Raspberry - by the regional kosher agency, Oregon Kosher

This now makes possible the use of their raw whipped honey crèmes as an ingredient in other kosher food production, and can also be used in restaurants and homes that prefer or need to keep Kosher. Honey Ridge Farms honey crème line is an ideal pantry staple for retailers and grocers to stock as a specialty Kosher item, too.

Honey Ridge Farms set me two delicious Cremes. I received Honey Creme Lemon Lavender and Honey Creme Clover.

Honey Creme Clover is a 2015 Good Food Award-Winner. Drizzle all-natural raw Honey Creme Clover on pancakes, waffles, French toast and hot cereal. It's a delicious glaze for quick breads and pound cakes. Serve with favorite cheese and charcuterie, or mix with mustard and other condiments for a delicious sandwich spread. Great simple syrup for all kinds of beverages. I am enjoying mine drizzled in a cup hot tea.

The Honey Creme Lemon Lavender is a lovely balance of piquant and floral makes this a perfect sweetener for teas, or glaze for cookies and cakes. Drizzle it over fresh ricotta or farmers cheese; yummy in yogurt, fold it into whipped creams, or serve with a cheese plate.

These sweet and delicious cremes can be purchased directly from their website starting at only $3.95 and orders over $49.99 will include free shipping.  https://honeyridgefarms.com/gourmet-honey-products

I was also sent Honey Ridge Farms Balsamic Honey Vinegar 2008 Sofi (TM) Silver Award Outstanding Vinegar from NASFT. It is a 2015 Good Food Award-Winner. Honey Ridge Farms' signature award-winning pure Honey Vinegar offers a unique twist on traditional Balsamic. Produced entirely from honey mead, this vinegar has mellow-sweetness and delicate bite. A must-have in any well-stocked pantry, Balsamic Honey Vinegar adds wonderfully fragrant honey flavor and richness to so many dishes and pan sauces. Because it's 100% honey, the vinegar is also sulfite-free.
Use it -

  • to baste roasted meats, seafood and poultry
  • to lightly dress vegetable dishes and salad dressings
  • drizzled over fresh sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese
  • in marinades and dipping sauces
  • in dressings for leafy green, potato, pasta and rice salads
  • reduced and drizzled over sliced strawberries with a grinding of black pepper for a delicious twist on dessert
I am really loving this balsamic honey vinegar lightly covering my salads. In particular my spinach and mandarin orange salads. I would love to try it on some chicken next. It is a perfect balsamic vinegar with an incredible touch of honey in it. Honey Ridge Farms website is really cool. They have recipes for each of their products.
