The 1st thing I tried was the Chocolate Cherries. I am not a fan of cherries in chocolate but these were actually very good. I surprised myself and actually ate a few. They are Chocolate covered dried Bing Cherries dipped in savory milk chocolate with a top layer of rich cherry colored chocolate. Excellent! and very rich in flavor.
My second item to taste was the Chocolate Almonds. I LOVED THEM! the chocolate they used on these super fresh tasting almonds was to die for. If you like Almonds and Chocolate you will want to order Chocolate Almonds.
The third item I tried and the one I was the most excited to open was the Mixed Fruit. Just seeing the huge pieces of fresh fruit in the bag was making my mouth water. I love fruit and LOVE dried fruit. The bag contained large pieces of exquisite dried apricots, pleasing dried peaches, sumptuous dried plums, plump dried pears, appetizing dried apples and mouth-watering dried nectarines.My boyfriend stole almost all the dried apples right off the bat, they were so good. I went nuts for the dried plums, they were so sweet and juicy, better then any fresh plum I have ever had. EXCELLENT! is the best word to describe this bag of dried fruit. I have never had anything like this. I have even dried my own fruit and it never turns out this good. I know for now on when I want sweet juicy dried fruit Bella Viva Orchards is where I am ordering my fruit from.
Last to get opened was the pistachio nuts. Just like everything else they were super fresh and excellent. The bag contained dye-free pistachios that are roasted and salted just right to bring out the delicate warm flavor.
