Wild Notes is a very good, fast read book. 
I am usually not a fan of books like this. I read more romance, mystery and odd books. Never would I of picked up a book like Wild Notes,
so I was happy that I got the chance to read and review. 
It makes me realize there is so much more out there to read and a book like
​Wild Notes was an excellent read. 

The short but very descriptive book is a great way to loose yourself in the short descriptive pages. 
You can read each story one at a time or loose yourself like I did and read the whole book in one day. 
Great book for relaxing
and you don't have to be a bird lover to read this book
but it will change the way you think about bird watching and birds. 

Each short story in this book captures a Chicago-area bird watcher's thoughts as he looks for a glimpses of life on the wing. Fast-flying, if sometimes-simplistic, pieces that celebrate patient observation and the beauty of birds.

​​Wild Notes chronicles several year's worth of daily observations written in a logbook style by a regular guy who happens to be a bird watcher, among other things. In the tradition of wilderness junkies like Ed Abbey, Annie Dillard and even that odd old hermit, Thoreau, the author is hooked on the elemental kick that starts with an easy-going interest in birds and goes beyond to an interest in all fleeting things. Bird watching, once considered a gentle hobby, is now known to be a wilderness adventure enjoyed by rough and ready men and women of all ages. The Author is: 
Mike Lubow he is a former VP Creative Director of a multi-national ad agency and founder of a mid-sized Chicago ad agency. (Actually, not mid-sized. Smallish, really, but big of heart). He’s written a popular column called “Got a Minute” for the Chicago Tribune, and has published fiction and non-fiction in a variety of national magazines from the literary to the glossy, some in Australia, New Zealand and several European countries. One of his stories was translated into four other languages. His newspaper columns have been collected in the book “In a Chicago Minute,” and ten of his published short stories have been collected in the book “Paper and Ink.” Both books are available online or through bookstores. He’s also creator of the online magazine “Two-Fisted Birdwatcher.” The author lives in the Chicago area. He’s a husband, father, grandfather, and could’ve played pro basketball if he were only a little taller.

Give this book a try, it was something I would of normally never read,

When I started writing this review I gave myself another week to continue trying MineralRich® to see how I continued to feel and if it did anything else for me. 
As some of you know I have thyroid cancer and when my thyroid was removed so did the piece that makes calcium in my body. On a daily basis I take 4-8 calcium pills along with 3 times a day prescription medication that absorbs that calcium in my body. I do forget my in the day pills and calcium from time to time (when I get busy) and I do notice that I forgot when my lips start to get numb, if I let it go too long my face, especially around my eyes get very numb too.

I have a vehicle to go pick out my own fresh cut tree, but I tried that last year....The trees aren't fresh cut, they have been cut, packaged up with a ton of other trees then shipped to where I live (Arizona). The are no longer in my opinion fresh cut trees. Most were already dried out and the needles were very sharp. Most of the places I went to you didn't even get to see the tree you were buying, they had 1-2 open and set up then you just told them the height and they gave you a tree. No thanks! If I am spending money on something I wanted to see it first.  Even though I didn't get to see my tree first with Five Star Christmas Tree Co. I was still confident that I was getting a beautiful fresh tree. (from comments I had read) So with the convenience, excellent customer service and highest quality trees I had read about I was more then happy with ordering a tree online instead of getting it from my local store. 

Today I came home from work, to find my Five Star Christmas Tree Co. Tree waiting for me out front my house. I had bought a tree stand last week in anticipation of the tree arrival. 
Let me show you some pictures of the way the tree arrived then below I will tell you what I thought. 

I love almost everything about my Five Star Christmas Tree, minus the top and the area's that have no branches. 
Now I know this is a real tree, so it won't be 100% perfect. I can deal with the spots where there is missing branches, I just turned the biggest open spot to the back and the other to the side and added more ornaments to that area. The top of the tree just sort of ended, there is really no defined top. So my star just sits there on the flat top of the tree. 
The other issue is, it's messy. Not after I got it open and shook out, but before. So a hint after you receive your Five Star Christmas Tree, OPEN IT OUTSIDE, if you can. Shake it out really good, I even had small wood clippings ( I assume from cutting the tree down) all over my floor. Very happy I have hardwood floors and not carpet and that the needles on this tree are very soft. But it was a huge mess. 
Overall a very nice tree. Fresh, soft needles, very full and it came to my door, I just ordered online. As far as the quality, I give it a 8 out of 10. If the top had a actual tree top I would of given it a 10 out of 10. I can live with the bare spots, no tree is perfect unless it's fake, but even then it's not perfect. 
I love the smell of the tree, a very fresh pine scent that smells wonderful. 

You can see a little of the pine needle mess on the floor, this is nothing compared to what the floor looked like before I got the vacuum out. I literally filled the whole vacuum with needles. 

I took the 3 pictures to show different sides of the tree. You can't really see the bare spots, good thing, but that top is till bothering me. Maybe I will look for a different tree topper that takes up more room,
then it won't look so flat on top.

How tall will my tree be?
We have three sizes of Fraser Firs this year. A 5-6 foot, a 6-7 foot and a 7-8 foot. They all have a very thick, full base and a nice limb for your tree topper. We can't specify whether your tree will be at the smaller size of the size range or the taller size, or somewhere in between.  Keep in mind that the height is measured from the bottom of the stump to the very top of the tree topper limb.  If you're having a hard time choosing between two sizes you may want to opt for the larger size.

How does your program work?
It couldn't be easier! We have two ordering seasons.  If you place your order before November 20th you can qualify for the Five Star hand delivery and your delivery will take place the week of November 30th.  If you place your order after November 20th then your tree will be delivered via FedEx Ground 6-10 days after order is placed.  Follow these simple steps to place your order.

CardNinja is super cool. 
You can now carry what you really need while running, hiking, every day use, in your pocket or purse. Just about everywhere. Think about it, we carry so much with us, but do we really need it. I went to clean out my purse the other day, to switch from my summer to winter color purse. I had so much stuff in my wallet alone. I didn't need more then half of it. My very favorite is Mexican Vanilla......yummy toffee and hint of delicious. All the flavors are very subtle so even the Coffee Milk flavor is not over powering. Its a very wonderful mixture of sweet butter toffee with a hint of coffee aftertaste.

The Season's English Spice taste like the holidays. It is a delicious blend of spice, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger. I taste the apple and so it reminds me of warm cinnamon apple cider or pie. 

​If you are a lover of Curry then your favorite will be the Sweet Masala Curry for sure. You will taste the sweet butter toffee at first and then get a spicy curry aftertaste.

My next favorite by far is Original Butter. I could eat the entire bag of this popcorn. Holy cow it is soooooo good. I love that Biggest Little Popcorn Company coats each perfectly popped kernel with their English Butter Toffee and then adds the different flavors on top to enhance it.

The flavors I did not get to try are Lime Light, Traditional Banana Toffee, Orangetine and Hot Cinnamon. They are special orders and each requires a minimum of 14oz per order.

You would get 8 or more slices to share. But I was not about to share.
I did have to share with my boyfriend, but he didn't like the white chocolate very much so gave me most of his half. 
I savored this and made it last 2 days.

I am not a fan of cookie. Too sweet for me, so this one I let my boyfriend have, the whole thing!
I was surprised he wanted it, since he didn't like the white chocolate on the pretzel apple. I think it just wasn't sweet enough for him. He ate this whole Fantasy Gourmet Cookies ‘N Cream Apple after dinner.

Jelly Apples
This is a smaller red apple, not as crisp as the others but still very good. 
It has a totally different texture and taste. I LOVE coconut. I wish this was on the big green apples. 
It would of been my favorite.

Our Story
Before the creation of the Hang-O-Matic, it was nearly impossible to hang a picture or a shelf on the wall perfectly straight.
One day, Karina was left in charge of decorating her home office and decided to hang a shelf on the wall. After leaving multiple holes in the wall and not getting the nails to match up with the key holes on the back of the shelf, she and her husband Jared were both frustrated. Not only did they have to take multiple trips to the hardware store, but they then needed to patch and repaint the wall to get it ready to try hanging the shelf again. Luckily, Jared took over and successfully hung it in one try.
After the shelf was up, Karina began decorating and put her irreplaceable snow globe on the shelf-surface—she received it from her in-laws, and they customized it to play their wedding song from the 70’s—needless to say it held a lot of sentimental value. Before she could finish decorating, the snow globe fell, shattered to pieces, and water spilled everywhere. They didn’t understand what had gone wrong, as the shelf appeared to be straight. They had to make yet another trip to the hardware store to purchase a level and quickly realized that the shelf was off by just a fraction of an inch.
That was when they thought that there had to be a better way.
